For Yvonne Johnson, Changing Lives One Day At A Time, Inc. began with a simple belief: when we see a need in our community, compassion should move us to action.

Yvonne founded the organization with a heart for people facing difficult seasons and barriers that can make stability feel out of reach. She believes meaningful change does not always happen through one grand gesture. Often, it begins with someone willing to listen, offer guidance, connect the right resources, and walk beside another person as they move forward.

That belief continues to shape the work of Changing Lives today. Through supportive housing, practical resources, community partnerships, and compassionate guidance, Yvonne’s vision is to help individuals and families move toward greater stability, dignity, independence, and hope.

At the heart of her leadership is a simple conviction: meet people where they are, believe in where they can go, and help them take the next step.
